My name is Lilith, I am 18 years old and come from Germany. After finishing my school time last year with my A-level exams, I am currently spending one year as Gap year around the world. At the moment I am staying in Chongwing, China as English-teacher and Chinese language student. I am very open-minded and friendly as well as energetic and ambitious.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love to travel. I am interested in everything and love to exchange with others on an international basis. I prefer staying in a home of a local by far to booking a lonely and anonymous hotel. I think that it is much more interesting to find someone who lives in the place that I visit, talking to him, making new friends. At the same time I like to provide accomodation for people who travel and need a room to sleep in. Giving a traveller a place in my apartment feels for me a bit like travelling myself.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
At the moment I am living in Chongqing China. Here I am teaching English in a Chinese family and learn mandarine at the same time. The family in Chongqing accepted me immediately as a family member, the girl I am teaching loves me as her older sister - this is a very nice intercultural experience

I have a lot of hobbies and in my 18 years have learned a lot of sport disciplines, languages and related to music I studied professionnal singing and can play four instruments. Often when I meet people I love to exchange and share my skills - as a consequence I have already experienced spontaneous acrobatic or gymnastic sessions, choir lessons I gave to a group, dancing together ...
