About Me
I believe that in life we should find what makes us happy and find time for it. I am able to devote a lot of time to what I love. Such is education, self-improvement and currently the pursuit of a better life. I would like to get to know as many places, cultures, life situations and people as possible, so that I can develop myself and understand things deeper.
I am always open to new things and I believe that when one door closes, another one opens.
I would like to close these few lines with my favorite quote: "Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.” – Forrest Gump
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe this is the best way to meet people from different countries and dive in different cultures.
Interests
I'm interested in many things, so it's hard to highlight everything, so I'd rather say, let's get to know each other better, and things that wasn't described will definitely be revealed :)
- education
- hiking
- sports
- languages
- travelling
- nature
- outdoors
- international cuisine
- cultural life
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an omnivore when it comes to music, I'm more picky about movies. I like several genres, but action movies and horror are far from me. I love to read, but unfortunately in the fast-paced world I can devote less and less time to reading. Lately, my interest has shifted towards sustainability and dystopia, but at the same time, I still like good crime stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have fear of heights that I try to overcome every day. For me, the coolest thing I tried this year was hot air ballooning. I got it as a present from my husband for my 30th birthday to experience the real height, as I am a fan of the beautiful panorama. It was super cool!
Teach, Learn, Share
As a teacher, I think it is essential that we learn to accept each other and learn to live in peace with others. Teaching surrounds us everywhere, even if not directly.
But definitely, "life is the best teacher".
What I Can Share with Hosts
I try to do my best to pass on a slice of Hungarian culture and show how Hungarian people are hospitable and welcoming, contrary to many misconceptions. Hungarian cuisine is far and wide famous in the world, so of course whoever I stay with will also have a Hungarian culinary experience.
