Overview
About Me
hey!
I’m an extrovert, open-minded, and I love to chat (especially when it comes to topics like sociology, politics, nerdy stuff, culture or music). I love trying new things, meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I’m currently half way through my masters degree in African studies.
I love poetry, yoga, gardening, dancing and live music.
Also, I like to cook and bake (I'm vegetarian by the way), do sports, visit poetry slams and spend time discovering cities and nature.
When I was 17, I couchsurfed my way through Europe for 6 weeks, and had one of the best times of my life so far. In the years after, I traveled through South East Asia and other places for a bit, did wwoofing in France, and lived abroad in Copenhagen for three years to do my bachelor's (including an Erasmus in Granada, Spain), as well as in Porto.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I treasure all the moments I made on my travels with CS and I can’t thank this app enough. I want to share, give back and to embrace the spirit of this open and loving community!

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to different kinds of rock music, but I also like punk, metal, folk and indie (I like dancing to nearly everything tho).
My favorite movie is by far 'Dead Poets Society', and I love LOTR, Star Wars, Inglourious Basterds and the Office too. Steppenwolf is probably my favorite book, but studying has honestly kept me quite busy with reading over the past three years.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending the Tet holidays in Hoi An, Vietnam.
Jumping on a stranger’s scooter in Koh Chang, Thailand, and getting a ride around the island.
Couchsurfing through Europe at the age of 17.
Seeing millions of bats fly out of their mountain cave at the sunset in Battambang, Cambodia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty good cook, so cooking (or eating) together is always an option! We can exchange our favorite music artists or whatever else we might both be interested in :)
I love to learn new things and am always open to your hobbies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unusual conversations, music, food and long walks around the city.
