ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, outgoing person who's always up for an adventure and making new friends.

I'm Hispanic and I can teach you many things about my culture as well as any Latin dancing that comes with it. I love to salsa! I also have some of my grandma's best cooking recipes that I'm willing to share.

These past few years of my life have been full of change and new experiences that have taught me to be an open minded individual with many desires to travel the world and get to know many different cultures and people.

I believe that everyone is peculiar in their own way with something amazing to teach others.

I love how the world can be so big, yet so small at the same time. It's a beach and we're all its surfers.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is enjoyable at every age. Physical strength can be a barrier sometimes to doing certain things, but a person's attitude and state of mind have a significant effect on anything that you propose yourself to do.

Positivity is the way to go! I still have to apply this to myself sometimes but it always works. Optimism is the best form of perseverance.

Peace is also valuable. Without it, you can't love or live in harmony.

To be open minded to new things means to be optimistic to grow and understand the world a little better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I was recently introduced, I've only surfed a couple of times and helped to host surfers. However, as soon as I settle down into my new place, I'll be able to host upcoming surfers with my future roommate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Originally, I was introduced to CouchSurfing by a great friend with whom I was able to experience it as well. At first, I was a little paranoid about it, but the people that we've met on the way have made such an impact, along with my friend's stories, that's changed my mind to enjoy the perks of this great community and to become more involved in it.

Interests

Traveling, sports, reading, learning, movies, the outdoors, dancing! I also enjoy the arts, flying, crazy things such as sky diving or bungee jumping and the list could go on and on. I can find something enjoyable in almost anything.

I'm also open minded with music. I love all types of Latin music and to dance it as well. I also enjoy rock, some jazz, reggae, and love house music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The little things I've seen or done are probably the most important to me. However, I've traveled to Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico and there are amazing people, food, and cultures in all of them. I can't wait to see even bigger things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to dance, some cooking, or even just show you around my city. I'm up for sharing experiences and learning about anything.
