About Me

Hi there!

My name is Linda, an enthusiastic new traveler looking for adventure abroad with a hunger for new and exciting story's and inspiring people. After finishing my bachelor in social work I decided I wanted to see more of the beautiful planet we are living on and become a stronger and better person. I headed off to magical India where I worked as an volunteer with street children for 4 weeks and traveled for 4 months more. I got the travel virus and after not to much time back in the Netherlands I went to Australia for more adventure.
I have a passion for exploring, wine, food, story's and my family and friends. Next to that I have a terrible sweet tooth, like to smoke a cigarette every now and then and I have a talent for embarrassing myself ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to try different options of travelling trough a country, meet inspiring people, make friends, learn, laugh, live, explore, listen, share.. Well, you get the point =D

Teach, Learn, Share

I bet I can tell you a lot about India and of course I would love to tell you something about the Netherlands if you like. We can cook a typical Dutch recipe while I teach you useless but funny sentences in Dutch =P First lesson; we 'Dutchies' (well.. maybe not all, but I do!) love a glass of wine or beer so all of this will be accompanied by at least one of these.
I would love to get to know your city and way of life better and I'm always interested to learn a new hobby.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I can share some memorable moments, a friendship and story's with my hosts.
