About Me

I'm Linda, 25 years old, music lover, daydreamer. I currently live in Marburg where I study Psychology but in my free time I try to explore other places as much as possible. I always think that time passes too fast and I'm confused but also amazed about the absurdity of life and all the things this world has to offer.
I am very interested in foreign countries, their culture and their people. I enjoy being exposed to different opinions, meeting people who see the world differently then I do. I try to walk through this world with open eyes and an open mind.

Interests

I really like being outdoors, going hiking, camping - it just gives me a lot to be in the nature. I love music and therefore also love going to concerts and festivals. I like being creative, doing stuff with my own hands although I often don't take the time for doing that. I enjoy doing Yoga and I'm very much into reading good books.

I try to live in a sustained kind of way although I know that I could still do even more. I try to keep my consumption of objects as little as possible and mostly buy things second hand. I always try to not produce any waste, avoid buying things that are packed in plastics and so on. I've also been a vegetarian since a couple of years

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and think I'm kind of picky, but I always enjoy getting to know new artists. Some of my favourites are alt-J, Foals, Glass Animals, Balthazar, Oasis, The Head and the Heart, The Strokes, Kate Nash, Local Natives. many more.
I love reading as well and can't really say that I have one favourite book, there are so many great books. Same applies to movies although I am not a big movie watcher

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling solo for 4 months in the Middle East was definitely one of the best things I've ever done. But there are so many things. The people I have met in my life and all the things I've been able to share with other human beings - that is also amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some basic guitar chords (that's how far my skills range) or show you some good card tricks and games. And I can teach juggling.
I always enjoy learning new things, I think I can find interest and enthusiasm in almost everything. I like talking about all different kinds of topics, hearing different opinions. There's a lot that people can learn from each other.

What I Can Share with Hosts

This is difficult to say because it depends soo much on the situation, the person, everything. But in general I like to share stories, thoughts, experiences and also make new experiences together

Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Palestine, Poland, Slovakia
