Honestly, I am not very active, but when I am traveling, I usually search for an accommodation via CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have found one long-term accommodation in Copenhagen via CS with my 2 friends. Location was great and it was personally best months of my life in Copenhagen. When we went for a short trip to Stockholm, we found a great place to stay with one local who showed some great places.
