About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a very tolerant, accepting and laid back person. I love people from all over the world, and especially the stories and culture that they share. I have a degree in Environmental Science and Planning from the University of Michigan. I currently hold a boring desk job as a Clerk/Typist. I am married to a wonderful musician and together we have 3 beautiful children. My father was born in England so I am first generation American on that side of the family. I love to have fun! Life is nothing if not filled with joy and laughter!

Interests

I love the arts: especially Music. I play guitar, sing, write songs. I also write poetry and stories. I paint, draw and craft. I love the theater, anything from opera, ballet, musicals or plays. I love nature: hiking, fishing, camping, biking, kayaking and just being in the woods. I love history, especially ancient history. I am intrigued by the mysterious and unexplained. I am a huge nerd and love pretty much anything you would find represented at your local Comic book convention :D I normally spend my time home with family, out seeing live music, or bowling, rollerblading, etc. I will try anything and love to have a good time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first time travelling "alone" was actually on a trip with my University where we went to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (yes, my State is lucky enough to have 2 states in one!)We travelled all over seeing the different geological formations and waterfalls that exist there. We ended up going to Lake in the Clouds and it felt like being in a fairy tale. That whole trip was amazing and I highly recommend anyone who loves the outdoors to make the trek to Michigan. We have lots of beautiful secret spots :)

I have gotten the opportunity to meet some pretty amazing people and musicians and would have to say that the biggest "wow" moment thus far was meeting Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi before their show. We got put on the guest list and I am still very good friends with their Hammond player.

Marco Island, Florida was a dream vacation, although entirely too short. We stayed in a condo overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Highly recommend travelling there if you get the chance.
