Many years ago me and my friends travelled a lot, using very little money. We loved to hitchhike and meet people. Once we had the idea to create a network for people who want to offer free accomodation for a couple of days. At that time there was no Internet and we wrote real letters, creating a small but efficient network. Many years later, I heard about couchsurfing and it is so amazing how big this comunity is, and how well it works. Since I still love travelling I like to be part of it, as a guest and as a host.
