CURRENT MISSION Meet amazing people all over the world ABOUT ME I love travelling and usually spend all my money on it. Travelling and meeting new people is what I regard as the most valuable experience in life and I am convinced that there is no better education out there. To travel around the globe has taught me more about myself, the world, and its people than anything else and it has enhanced my life in a special way. While travelling, I have met so many amazing people all over the world and many of them have become lifelong friends who have enriched my life in a special way and will continue to do so. I love to laugh, to meet new people, and to get to know different cultures, to learn languages, and to see new places. To my mind, travelling and meeting people is the best education and most priceless experience one can get in life regarding yourself and the world in general. The most important thing for me in life is a good sense of humor and trustworthiness. I love all kind of sports - from yoga to surfing - and to try new things. I love to hang out with my friends and to make new ones. I like to be adventurous and constantly need to keep moving - because the world is just too amazing and there are far too many interesting people out there to stay in one place for too long. I have spent one year in New Zealand and another one in Canada and totally fell in love with both cultures - so I am definitely going to live abroad again very soon - the destination is yet to be decided, though... PHILOSOPHY Life is meant to be lived and all about the amazing people you encounter on your journey.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING To my mind, travelling is not simply about having seen or visited a city or a country but about intercultural exchange, experience and education. To me, the purpose of travelling is to meet great people, to really get to know different cultures and to fully understand the mentally of the people living in the country you are visiting. My purpose of travelling is to be part of another culture and the daily life in a foreign country to learn and understand all you need to know about it. I think, these things are the things that really enrich your life and broaden your horizone, that bring down walls and build up lasting friendships with people who share the same values and visions. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfing made me meet the most amazing people, created lasting friendships and has enrichted my life. I am truly grateful for having met all these great people and I am happy that Couchsurfing gave me the chance to do so. I doubt there is a better way of travelling.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Skydive in Lake Taupo, New Zealand, woohoooo :) I guess it left me naturally high for at least one week after the jump and I am not sure if my brain every fully recovered from that since the grin is constantly coming back on my my face whenever I remember it :)

My Interests

I love doing sports, to write and to have a fun night out with my friends. I love to go dancing and to laugh. I think, in daily life there is nothing more important than a good sense of humor. I am most happy when I am out there traveling and meeting new people, when I am close to the ocean or in an exciting city with amazing people surrounding me. Oh, and I am madly in love with Swing Dancing ;)
