i love to take photos of everything, make music, listen to rainstorms and people who like to talk about themselves, eating food, making it, learning new things, smiling, and exploring.

PHILOSOPHY

in development. but i think the most important thing is to open up your eyes and try to see people and love them for who they are. be aware. stop yourself before you judge someone. everything you perceive is in your control.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i hosted a few times when i had my own little home, but now i'm moving from home to home, and will start traveling very soon via couchsurfing and the kindness of strangers. i've done a lot of couchsurfing before, and have fallen in love with the community. i know one day when i have the means i will open up my own couch to others in need. thanks again guys!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

went on a backpacking trip across america on two separate occasions for a few months. couchsurfed my way around with a friend in toe.

兴趣

i love my canon. i take it everywhere with me and constantly snap shots. i am also interested in most books, cinema and television, stand up comedy, food, piano, independent music, science... okay, these are broad topics. i am really interested in a lot of things. i do have a facebook where i display an epic list of "likes" if you're interested.

some movies: submarine, dark days (omg i love docs), hobo with a shotgun, hesher, the foot fist way, crazy stupid love.

music: the thermals, devotchka, erykah badu, noisettes, chronic, husky rescue, critter.

books: currently reading women by bukowski. i like a lot of graphic novels like maus, watchmen, y: the last man. i also dig kerouac, hunter s. thompson, ginsberg stuff, of course. it's all good.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i saw new york for the first time in september. when my bus drove through the tunnel and i was surrounded by massive skyscrapers and lights and city, i was filled with a new sort of energy. it was intense and good.

^i wrote that more than half a year ago. i didn't realize that was just the beginning of a new exciting life full of these sort of experiences. bring it on, universe.
