Overview
About Me
A 25 years old professor oscillating between life in academia and travel aspirations :)
After a few years of traveling in Europe I now live in California and cannot wait to explore the United States!
I usually don't really plan my trips, I go with the flow by following people's advice and it's always been amazing.
I'm a big believer in slow and eco-responsible travel and I'm always excited to find alternative ways of exploring the world :)
Genuinely curious about everything, I find beauty in ordinary life and always wanna know more about how others experience life. I apply that philosophy in my research by working on love, happiness and tales of meeting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When hitchhiking through Europe in 2019 I discovered the beauty of slow and eco-responsible travel, which stuck with me since then. I've done couchsurfing for a couple years now, mostly outside of the app, and I've met the loveliest people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a huuuuge part of my life, I always carry earphones with me. My first love were good old pop/rock/folk bands from the 60s-70s but I listen to a bunch of things ranging from French electro to celtic metal, techno, film music...
Some of my fav movies : Almost Famous, Good Morning England, Anatomy of a fall...
As a researcher I mostly read history and sociology books but I recently got back to poetry. When I manage to overcome impostor syndrome I also love to write random thoughts !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hitchhiked from France to Greece and met so many amazing people on the way!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm currently a French teacher, but I've also taught English in France, so I can help you improve your skills in these languages :) And i'm looking forward improving my - very poor - knowledge of Spanish and German.
I'm also a huuuuge fan of crafts of any kind. I knit, sow, crochet, do embroidery and was the owner of a small origami earrings business for a couple years. I'd be super happy sharing these skills and learning new arts and craft of any kind.
I looove music, and I play a bit of guitar and sing. I really enjoy improvised musical moments with friends and fellow travelers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I loooove cooking and baking (people say I make good crêpes) so I'd be happy to bring food and share a meal together. I can also help you with any home tasks.
Otherwise I'm very flexible and respectful of boundaries so I would completely understand if you don't want to spend time with me.
