Hi! I am a student at the University of Missouri - Kansas City in my hometown of Kansas City. I am working towards a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics and Minor in Mathematics. I intend to pursue a Master's in Economics either abroad, in New York, or at UMKC. It will just depend how the cards fall!

In my spare time, I am highly involved in College Democrats and in the statewide Democratic Party.

I love to sew, spend time with friends and my dogs, cook, and educate people on current events.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to make friends and connections internationally. I love to travel and absolutely love the idea of staying with someone who knows the area. I am living with my parents right now, so I can't offer my couch. As soon as I move out I would be open to hosting someone!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to slow alternative music but I have a soft spot for rock.

I don't watch a ton of movies but I love binging on TV shows like Game of Thrones, Merlin, House of Cards, cheesy mini-series, and guilty pleasures like CW dramas.

The last book that I really enjoyed and loved was The Elegance of The Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. I have a list a mile long, but that was the most recent non-school related book that I read. Oh, and also Harry Potter. That series is my all time favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I fundraised, organized, and planned a successful canvassing trip this past July to Santa Barbara, CA for Bernie Sanders. We had a blast and everything worked out really really well.
