Overview
About Me
Friends say I'm quite easy-going and have a wide range of interests. I'm a student which means I'm doing my best to make the lives of my friends and myself really fun, and I want to find out ways people have fun in different countries and cultures :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because everyone needs a chance to meet people from all over the world!
Interests
I enjoy listening to good music (who doesn't? ), books and art - mostly the classics. Off the top of my head would say are Billy Milligan's 24 Faces, Anna Karenina, Heart of a Dog (by Bulgakov) are among the best. Not a huge show fan, but absolutely loved How I met your mother.
Travelling is probably my biggest love. Visiting a new place, I always wonder what life there is like, what people are up to and how they spend their days, and I try to learn from them, so to say, the insiders' tips and perks on everyday stuff and on having fun. I'm a kind of a coffee addict which I'm not even willing to fight haha - quality coffee makes literally like 90% of my day. As a side job, I do the translation and interpreting freelance work for different people: I like learning languages, so, this work is pretty much as a hobby for me. Also, dancing is fun, I've been a dancer for the most of my life (it was ballet, hip hop, different modern stuff...). Was always fascinated by adrenaline-rush type of activities: so far have only done bungee jumping, but will definitely go for more. And, of course, meeting people as I travel makes my life sweeter. And memes. My heart just can't help falling victim from the most absurd stupid stuff on the internet (almost not ashamed to admit).

Music, Movies, and Books
Haven't really seen too many shows (yes, I exist haha), but have a few top favs, which happen to be How I met your mother, Utopia, and Black Mirror, totally loved them. Don't explore much in that field on my own, prefer to listen to the experienced ones, so, your recommendations are welcome!
I listen to all sorts of music as long as it's good, but especially love rock of all kinds, old jazz, and stuff of that kind. Metallica, AC/DC, Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong are just phenomenal
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
— spent a year in the US as a high school student, having lived in a host family
—traveled across the US from the east coast to the west coast with stops in many different places on the way
—hitchhiked with my friend in Spain and in the US
...and I'll keep extending the list :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can tell a lot about Russia in all its peculiar beauty (and absurdity). And I can cook some delicious Russian (or some other) food. We can do all sorts of stuff together - I'm always open to new things!
