About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Growing, laughing, loving.

ABOUT ME

I run meditation groups - including laughing meditation - here in London. I'm also a writer working on my second novel - so my life is quite full right now, but there's always time to meet new people.

I take every opportunity to travel, but it's the journey more than anything. Whether I'm in one place or moving around, it's exploring, experimenting, challenging myself that matters.

PHILOSOPHY

You're only here once - so live, live - and love until you can't breathe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Firstly, my couch is your couch. I can't think of a better way to make friends from all over the world and spread the vibe of sharing, community and freedom.

Also, by surfing myself I can make more bridges with new people in so many new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and surfed many times, which has been amazing. I'm starting to think of couch surfing as couch hitch-hiking. I love it.

Interests

As a writer, I read a lot. There's always a half-read book somewhere. I love history audio-books too. I'm a little addicted right now.

I've practiced many forms of meditation over the years and offer treatments to those interested. These work really well alongside my meditation circles.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes; The Beatles, Radiohead, Nick Cave, Rachmaninov.

Film; 2001, Star Wars, The Thin Red Line, The Little Mermaid (really).

Books; Crime and Punishment, Anna Karenina, Autobiography of a Yogi, any of the Jeeves and Wooster novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My tandem parachute jump was pretty amazing.

There's been lots of travel, but anything that opens my eyes and shakes the fear of death out of me makes me live a little more.

Teach, Learn, Share

We're all role models. I will learn from meeting you being just who you are.

Be yourself.

And I'll try to do the same.
