Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To paddle down this river that is life and see as many beautiful things and meet as many beautiful people as possible along the way
ABOUT ME
I am very curious by nature and love to learn. I also love to challenge myself personally. My adventurous aspirations are balanced out by my laid-back and calm personality--although of course I do enjoy letting loose and having a good time as well!
PHILOSOPHY
Be the best human that you can be!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just starting out here on CS but I plan to do lots of traveling while studying abroad fall 2012 so hopefully my connections with other Surfers will grow in number very soon! Also hope to start hosting sometime back in the US
Interests
I ADORE being outdoors in nature, especially when hiking, backpacking, and rafting/boating. My other passion is history (which is what I study), so I love learning about the past and visiting museums. In my spare time I am very drawn to handicrafts and many forms of arts--sewing, knitting, dyeing textiles, making jewelry, etc. and I enjoy singing a lot. I also enjoy the finer things in life, like wine and chocolate. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The last night of my month-long survival school course in Utah, I hiked through the night and saw the most beautiful night sky I've seen in my life. I counted 43 shooting stars that night!!
I was able to witness a couple days of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival when I was there this past summer 2012 and it was brilliant, so bustling alive with people and performers of all sorts everywhere! Going back and spending a week or two there during the Festival is definitely on my to-do list.
