Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To enrich either my traveling experiences or that of other fellow travelers. Whether hosting or hanging out in town or abroad, it is nice to meet likeminded people who are truthful to the CS concept, as a result, along the way I have met people that have definitely enriched my traveling experiences, and that I'm thankful for.
On the other hand, I think a lot of people should make a better effort to be involved in ways not exclusively limited to playing the guest role and nothing else. There are always opportunities to contribute, such as hanging out when traveling, showing your town to people or joining events.
