Hi, I'm Livvy! I'm a Literature student here in the UK. I'm friendly, outgoing and adventurous.

I love music and I play guitar (and the 12 string!), ukulele, piano and I sing. I enjoy reading, baking, making new friends and travelling. I'm always open to trying new things and gaining new skills!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend and I are travelling to Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway this summer. We're looking to make friends along the way and experience the culture away from the traditional tourist routes. Basically, I'd like to make friends in different countries.

In the future, I'd like to host people, and help to show off the best parts of the Northern cities!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to pretty much anything, but my favourites are: The Beatles, Fall Out Boy, Mumford and Sons, Muse and George Ezra.

As for films, anything with Benedict Cumberbatch! But yeah, I'll watch any genre.

As a literature student, trying to pick just a few books is quite difficult! I love the classics such as Jane Eyre, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Great War poetry and I love The Great Gatsby and Birdsong. But I'm also a big fan of graphic novels, like Scott Pilgrim. I'm currently reading the Game of Thrones series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm learning the Anglo-Saxon language - it's pretty useful for my course and has inspired an interest in all things viking and Nordic! Wes þú hál!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn about everyday life in each country I visit, as well as hopefully teaching my hosts a little about British culture too. It'd be pretty cool to get advice on the best places to visit while I'm travelling and see some of the rarer sights.

Hopefully we can share stories, maybe over food or a few drinks!
