Overview
About Me
25 year old Au pair. Living in Rome until the summer. I come from a lovely town in west Yorkshire, where flat caps, Yorkshire puddings and whippets roam free.
I am a keen theatre lover, with passion anything creative, arty, musical and emotional. Glass half full lass, I look for new adventures and opportunities wherever possible. I defiantly am a people person, gathering my various friendship groups to mingle and mix when its my birthday (I always have a big birthday do and get as many people involved as possible).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to travel around Italy whilst I am au pairing in rome (in my free time). I am new to Couchsurfing and I think it is a really good way to meet new people and share an experience which you would not usually get if you booked a hotel or hostel. I am slowly planning my way around Italy with a few weekend trips in mind, and I also want to make new friends, new experiences with people who can show me things that I wouldn't find on my own.
Interests
Theatre, live music, outdoor activities (rock climbing, walking, running) social nights out with my rome friends, colouring and drawing ( very badly) singing (also very badly), watching films.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a lot of 70's and 80's music: Queen, Bowie, Pink Floyd, anything rock and roll. I enjoy listening to new music that I have never heard of before. Movie wise, I go for animated films, anything by Pixar and DreamWorks, I love action movies, especially comic action movies like Iron Man and Captian America. I am a major doctor who and Sherlock fan. I am not much of a book person but I am currently making my way through the first Game of Thrones Book (I can see why there has been so much hype about this book! yer I know I'm late to jump on this band wagon, but better late than never.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to Italy! It has been the first time I have lived out of my home town and it has been an amazing experience. Moved to rome in September 2015, living with an Italian family.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My story ( why I am here, what I have done, what I want to do), friendship, interests, exchange languages ( trying to improve my Italian). I am keen to contribute to my stay, whether it be cooking, doing the dishes, bring some wine for the meal.
