About Me

Welcome to our world in beautiful New Braunfels, TX!

Wally and I have been partners for 5 wonderful years, sharing a passion for travel, exploration, and continuous learning. Whether it's local, domestic, or international, we seek out new experiences beyond our everyday surroundings.

When we're not on the road, we indulge in our shared love of cooking, brewery hopping, and immersing ourselves in live music. Wally, a talented musician himself, has an impressive collection of guitars and records, and you're welcome to join in on a jam session with him! As for myself (Liz), I spent about 3 incredible years traveling the world, and will forever be a nomadic spirit at heart.

While we can't travel all the time, we're excited to embark on new adventures vicariously through hosting. So, welcome to our home! Our large, 2-story, 4-bedroom house is conveniently located just 1 mile from historic Gruene. Your cozy room is the guest bedroom, featuring its own private bathroom.

In and around Gruene and Downtown New Braunfels, you'll find an abundance of restaurants, bars, breweries, charming boutiques, and shops. Plus, live music fills the air every day, offering you a vibrant and enjoyable experience during your stay.

We can't wait to share our little corner of paradise with you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drank water from a Patagonian glacier.
Hiked Bali's highest active volcano... in the dark.
Rescued a kitten in Bosnia (who's now living like a queen in the UK).
Sold everything I owned twice.
Traveled the world, domestically and internationally, for 3 years.
