ABOUT ME

Currently there's just me and a trio of cats. I'm very interested in other languages and cultures, and eager to travel and host guests from all over the place. I think of myself as fun, out-going, friendly. I love a nice warm cup of tea and watching movies.

I speak German, not very well but enough to get by, and a handful of phrases in other languages.

My current housing is not the best, though I hope to move soon to a place where it would be easier to host guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience in hosting was a wonderful guy from Croatia. We kept in touch via Facebook and two years later I was hosted at his place! I would love to make more connections like this!

Tea, movies, puzzles, foreign languages, good parties, reading, anime and manga, video games, going to the beach, etc. I enjoy a little bit of everything!

There are too many books to list. Let's just say, we have 7 large bookcases full of reading material here. :)

Some favorite movies: The Holiday, Boondock Saints, The King's Speech, The Phantom of the Opera, all Disney movies, Rudy, Patch Adams, Fever Pitch, Hook, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Matilda, and the list goes on :)

Music: Again, a little of everything. Some favorite artist are Die Prinzen, The Beatles, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, Journey, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, Lady Gaga, Adele, Nickelback, Kamelot, Avenged Sevenfold, TATU, Linkin Park.

Traveled to numerous countries by myself :) It took a lot of courage and perhaps a little foolishness

I'm very artistic and spend a lot of time drawing, sewing, and just being creative. I also collect ball-jointed dolls and play the violin, not very well.

We also have three cats: Alexa, Eli and Chaya.

I work full time but may be able to meet up around my schedule. I've lived in the area all my life and can recommend places to eat and things to do. If you are visiting Legoland, I may be able to meet up and give you a tour. :)
