About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am taking a hiatus from real life (and employment) to travel and try to place myself in such a big, nutso world

ABOUT ME

Recent college graduate, about to embark on a six-week traveling hurricane with my best friend, a charming brit by the name of Rachael. I just got back from five months in Sanitago, Chile, a spectacular city and my second home, with all the good and bad that entails. I am a photographer, currently living by the ocean outside of NYC and trying to decide whether to pursue the dream in Manhattan or somewhere else (in the state, country, world, universe).
My life is a little nomadic right now but I'm ok with it. It's exciting to be bouncing around, trying new things, without any clear idea of where I will be in six months from now. That said, when I finally stay in one place long enough to subscribe to the newspaper and have a garden, I will finally feel at peace.
I love to cook, whether you're staying with me or I'm staying with you, nothing would make me happier than to go through the pantry and to try to make something delicious based off the ingredients already at hand. I am a very laid back girl -- while going out to discos is not my 'norm' when I'm at home, I think it's ridiculous not to give different concepts of fun a fair try, so sure, let's go! Who doesn't like to dance? Or, if you're more my speed, let's go see your friend's band play, let's stay in and play records, let's go hiking, let's go to your favorite bar, let's cook, let's trade books, let's hang out!

PHILOSOPHY

Well, why don't we talk this over when we are sitting outside on a nice summer's evening with a glass of wine in hand?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
