About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live for Today! and recognize the opportunity that is right in front of you. Stop dreaming and make realities out of your hope!
ABOUT ME
I am an out-going, sweet, hard working and honest woman, mother of a beautiful 1 yr old who rocks my world! I enjoy many things but nothing is more satisfying than learning, whether it is from a person or a place. I believe than everyone has a story, even if it is on-the-making, just like a place. I love to cook, to dance, to enjoy a good wine, to meet new people and to enjoy the simple things that life offers.
Recently, I came to the realization that I am the architect of my experience and my life, and after 4 very hard years working toward things that gave me no personal satisfaction I've decided to take a chance to do something that most people spend their time only dreaming about, traveling. And yes, that includes bringing my daughter with me, which I know will be a challenge but I wouldn't have it any other way. She is my Happiness.
So cheers to the good times ahead!
PHILOSOPHY
Appreciate the little things and every single chance that you get... you might never have it again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just for the record, based on some e-mails that I've received: I'M NOT HERE FOR DATING!!! Just friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just signed-up so not much to say yet, but definitely looking forward to share my space and also get to know people from all over the world.
Interests
Learning! About people, about a place, about the different languages. Exploring. Psychology. Physics. Cooking. Beach. Dancing. Wine. Hearing jokes (but I'm horrible at telling them).

Music, Movies, and Books
Scary movies! But I also like drama, romantic and war movies. I love almost all kinds of music with only one exception, heavy metal. I read a lot, but Paulo Coelho is my favorite writer (Spanish).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day I decided that I was going to change my life, next thing I knew I was taking my first plane to a country I had never been that spoke a language that I didn't speak after joining the military. I still remember thinking "what was I thinking?" and "Oh my God, this is snow!" (yes, I had never seen snow before, I grew up in Puerto Rico).
