About Me

Hi! My name is Lizzie... Which you probably read above ✌

First of all I should let you know, I have a boyfriend and his name is Travel. He takes all my money. 💰🌎

Anywho, I have currently escaped the prison that is Australia and am traveling the world where ever the wind blows me. That wild wind has recently pushed me from Ontario, Canada this past summer where I was working at a summer camp to The United States where I explored Chicago, New Orleans, Boston, and New York 🗽. From there I ended up in London and Portugal. I am currently backpacking through and around Berlin until the 6th of January. I am then off to Barcelona ( 7th- 11th January), Before the plane takes me to Antigua, Guatemala for 4 Months!! ✈

Now that didn't give you a very good idea about me as a person, but if you are available to host me during that time, I dare ya ;) haha instead here are some reviews Ive had in the past because who wants to listen to me describe myself..

"I love Lizzie, Amazing quality and exactly what I ordered. Would highly recommend. Extremely satisfied." - Steve Irwin, QLD, Australia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"I've hosted a few Lizzie's in my time, But I like this one the best."- Harry Potter, London, United Kingdom ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Lovely sweet girl, Great cook, Cleans up after herself nicely and even remembers to make the bed. Everyone out there should host her. "- Lizzie's Mum ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best friend and I are currently traveling. We find the best way to see what a place has to offer is meeting the locals and doing it their way. We love experiencing new or different ways of living and getting the locals intel of what's best in their town. Annnnndd who doesn't love pyjama parties?

Couchsurfing can save you money but thats not the point, I like to spend that money with my host anyways.
Couchsurfing is a certain kind of Karma, that needs to be respected. What goes around comes around right?

I think it would be awesome to then host people Ive stayed with and new travellers when I finally return home.

Interests

As much as I do enjoy a good sleep in with a side of snoring, my ideal day would be waking up in a new place everyday... After I have awoken with ever so cute bed hair one I would head to the kitchen to make some toast, but not just any toast, these days I enjoy Peanut-butter, Banana toast. How good does that sound right? 🍌

I got a little side tracked with breakfast but when you get down to it, Im an explore and the perfect day besides my peanutbutter banana toast would be to then head out where ever I am and just wander until i'm lost. I would check out some of the recommend places in the area and get my steps up on my fit-bit. Who doesn't want to get those 10,000 steps for the day! ⌚

Then I think the afternoon would be followed with a treat- yourself afternoon frothie, preferably a Fosters but any local beer on tap wouldn't go astray. 🍻

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely feel most invigorated when I'm watching and dancing to live music! I love music festivals and singing along to the radio in the car. My voice is about a 2 out of 10 when singing but my confidence is a 11 out of 10 while engaging in karaoke.

I love books but they are so heavy to travel with so I carry one with me and when I'm finished try to exchange with others along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2017 I met Client Liasion
In 2016 I went to 5 Music Festivals in Australia
In 2015 I did a road trip from Whistler, British Columbia to Banff, Alberta and holy jamoley have you seen the Rocky Mountains,
In 2014 I went to Pamplona for the Running with the bulls
In 2013 I went to Octoberfest In Munich, Germany
In 2012 I started casually dating a guy called Travel

Teach, Learn, Share

Wanna learn to boogie? Lets Dance! 💃

I love exchanging travel stories, most couch surfers are travellers themselves and its always interesting to listen to someone else's take on a city or place.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Can cook up a mean feed, help around the house and just some classic great Aussie banter.
Lets hang!
