Hi everyone, my name's Ljubomir. I'm currently studying in Edinburgh and would like to travel around during the free time I have. I'm quite the open-minded person, so I would like to meet as many people as possible. Traveling and tasting local cuisine is the best way to do that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I got on couchsurfing is that it kind of allows you to fully enjoy the places that you are traveling. I fully believe that the best way to experience any culture or place is to stay with a local, because they themselves know it best! I love sharing the beauty and integrity that my home-town has, so whenever I am there, you are more than welcome to join me (there's plenty of space for guests!).

Interests

My hobbies have changed throughout the years, however there are a few that remained always. Those include, playing guitar, reading books and working out. I've also had a fair share of video games in my life, but I find myself not having any more free time to enjoy them as much as I'd like to. I'm currently trying to save up money and buy equipment so I can start recording and making my own music. I'd say if I were to have certain goals in my life, writing a book and recording an album is definitely one of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is a bit diverse, I appreciate everything from classical music to funk, jazz, to rap and hip hop, even electronic music. However, I've found that the music that does it most for me is rock and metal, so that's the genre I've been listening to constantly. Regarding my reading habits, I used to read all the classic stuff written in the Renaissance, Baroque, Enlightenment...I'd say my favorite authors are Dante Alighieri, Dostoevsky, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King (the list can go on for a bit haha). Currently I'm reading psychology books regarding experience and consciousness so if you're eager to talk about the 'self' I'd be more than happy to engage in a conversation! I'm not that big of a fan of movies, especially superhero ones, however I enjoy a good movie once in a while. I'm more into TV Shows, and currently watching West World, Vikings, House of Cards and of course Game of Thrones.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm able to teach anything regarding mathematics and physics to a 2nd year university level, and I could teach you how to play the guitar or how to talk in one of the languages I am fluent in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe the best thing I can offer to a host is my company and undivided attention. I am genuinely interested in hearing somebody else's experience of their life and then sharing mine. Having these conversations whilst walking around undiscovered areas and untasted food is the best part for me when it comes to traveling.
