About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to still be contra dancing when I turn 100!
ABOUT ME
I am the mother of 4 young adults. I travel mostly to see family and friends, to go to contra dance weekends, and to go to the beaches.
My husband and I met Contra dancing (loads of fun! check it out on youtube!) We have a blended family and several pets. We still contra dance any chance we can, although less so now that I am in graduate school
I am getting my PhD in health psychology and I want to do research and teach. My husband is a woodworker who enjoys restoring old houses and old furniture.
PHILOSOPHY
The meaning of life is to give life meaning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been in a hot air balloon that crashed into powerlines right over a freeway (a little more excitement than I was planning!). I also donated a kidney to a high school friend a few years ago. That was a life changing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was a beekeeper for several years! That was fun and fulfilling. I have homeschooled our children, had an unplanned home birth, and use homeopathy as our main approach to medicine. I am very drawn to Buddhism.
I want to learn more about individual's experience of their unique cultural/life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook! and bake cookies, and some really incredible toffee!
