ABOUT ME

Education, healing, sustainability, dance of all sorts, music plus myriad other interests and intrigues. I have been blessed to couchsurf many parts of the world, and I am excited to continue that, and repay the generosity when possible too.

I love the reciprocal action of teaching and learning. How sharing something with someone who is new to it, gives you, the teacher deeper insights into something youve explored for a long time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love joining forces with others who are interested in or and are finding ways to live sustainably and in community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There is one story that jumps in my mind at this moment, when I was in Eger Hungary in 1992, and I had accidentally gotten stuck there when the train stopped running at about 8;30 pm. I felt that I had really screwed up and sat there wondering about having to find some place to stay in this small town where I didnt really want to be.
A very short time later a girl came up to me and asked in perfect English if i was needed help. Since she was asking, I told her my predicament, and within the half hour, I had met her family, and was a welcomed guest.
Her father was a respected architect in the area, and they were having people over for a presentation on Hungarian building styles. This family was so interesting, and they could not have been kinder to me. There are aspects of Hungarian life I would never had been exposed to had I net been so sweetly taken in.

I have studied traditional Hawaiian Lomilomi massage.
I teach violin, esl, music and French for a living.
I have studied several forms of yoga, and other healing movements... QiGong, contact improve dance, hula...
