About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Self improvement and following my passions

ABOUT ME
I am naturally inquisitive and open minded, and enjoy being exposed to other peoples views of life, the universe and everything. Growing up in South Africa I developed a deep love for nature and try spend as much time as I can in nature, hiking, fishing, camping or just sitting and taking in the sights and sounds. Throughout my life the wilderness has been a place of grounding myself and a place where I can clear my mind and soul.

I am passionate about science and technology and hope that one day I can combine my passions for technology, with my love of the environment to make an impact in the field of conservation.

PHILOSOPHY
"It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, including the negative ones, as merely steps on the path, and to proceed." - Ram Dass

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am excited by new perspectives, ideas and the learning that comes with traveling and meeting new people. Every person has a story to share and something to teach and I truly believe that the hearing these stories makes us all more compassionate, and caring towards others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Recently I have mainly used Couchsurfing for meet-ups, although I have had great experiences in the past hosting and being hosted, and some amazing friendships have developed.

Interests

I am big on the outdoors, I love spending time in nature whether that is hiking the tops of mountains, diving the depths of the ocean or sailing over roaring seas. My soul craves exploration and my inquisitive nature drives me to push my limits. Apart from that I love food and the process of taking raw ingredients and turning them into an experience which speaks to the soul and replenishes the body.
