Unfortunately some people are taking advantage of couchsurfing and are not into it as much as others.

Couchsurfing does not mean you will stay in a 5 star hotel for free.

Couchsurfing is free of charge yes but you should make your hosts' life as easy as possible. Don't tell your host you will arrive at 4pm and then show up at 8pm. Your hosts have a life aswell. They don't want to sit home all day to wait for somebody.

Also with some Couchsurfers you can see that they are just looking for a free place to stay cos they can't or don't want to afford a hotel.

I am too old to host rude people who don't want to talk but eat the food, use the wifi and then leave without saying goodbye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
