I recently quit my job a few months ago with the intent of meeting new people, learning new things, and traveling (This also means that if I'm hosting you, I have plenty of time to show you around whichever city I'm in :) ). So couchsurfing seems like a pretty great community to dive into! In terms of personality, I'm pretty extroverted/outgoing but do also enjoy alone time. So I tend to get along well with all sorts of people, and can definitely understand if you might want quiet, a chill hang out, or something a little bit more adventurous. Likewise, I enjoy not just the fun, goofy conversations but also the deeply emotional and personal ones. In terms of the resume stuff, I my background is in physics, electrical engineering, and software engineering.
