I am Lola, a French PhD student, passionate about travelling, reading and talking to everybody.

I am currently discovering my new town, called Poitiers, which I found out it is amazing. Since I have lived in very big cities like Madrid, Lyon or Buenos Aires, being in a small town was kind of a shock. But this lead to a great surprise: this town is full of life and (new) friends. Nature and history, all combined. (I realized I sound like a tourism guide of Poitiers, lol).
My big big passion is reading . My favorites authors are Annie Ernaux, Cristina Rivera Garza, Mariana Enriquez, Alejandra Pizarnik, among others. As you can see, my favourite ones are from Latin America, and because of that is that my subject of study is latinamerican literature.

I live with my boyfriend Ian, from Argentina, who is a biologist. So, as you can see, our subjects are veeery different. He likes to play his guitar, talk for hours about nonesenses with me or his friends, watch documentaries, and listen to music nonstop.

Together we love to cook (we are both vegetarians) and discover new recipes. He makes the best empanadas in the world, and me, the best lasagna (according to him 😎). Also we love to dance a lot: our own or with friends, in the kitchen or in a club. It doesn't even matters whether there is music or not.
