ABOUT ME

I'm nearly 30 and am hard at work trying to learn as much about myself as I can to gain optimum health for myself and my immediate family. Currently experimenting with the raw vegan lifestyle.

I grew up in North Central Washington, riding dirt bikes and doing anything outdoors (mountain biking, running, boating, snowboarding, etc).

I left during my senior year of high school to study abroad at a boarding school in England called Brockwood Park. It is a very international co-ed boarding school founded by a fellow named J. Krishnamurti. The school attempts to inspire the creation of a new human being by challenging preconceptions and engendering a spirit of inquiry. "Truth is a pathless land."

I've worked with my father all my life in our custom home electronics business. High-end home entertainment systems are our specialty and I'm in the process of helping him organize the business better after getting my BA in business management from WWU in Bellingham, WA in 2007.

I have a black belt in classical Okinawan Karatedo. I also dance a LOT. I've studied lindy hop since 2000 and in 2005 I studied abroad in Argentina for five months and became enthralled with tango.

I hope to move from my home town of Wenatchee within the next couple years, to a bigger town with more HAPPENIN'!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people in their environment. It gives me a chance to taste what it would be like to live in their shoes. I'm also hoping to move before too long and would like to know where the good spots are at!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed officially yet, but have hosted and been hosted by dancer friends. Great experiences every time. People are good and so generous typically.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

* Jumping a dirt bike off of a small cliff in the dark with only headlights to guide.
* Getting caught in a small avalanche in Austria, wishing I had bought a beacon.
* Getting dropped off by a cyclo-taxi in Saigon at the doorstep of a "massage" parlor in china town, only to find out inside that they didn't specialize in the massage I had in mind.... ; ) don't worry. I didn't.
