ABOUT ME

My Name is Matt - I had a pretty normal life i guess until i quit college at Ohio U. to play in a rock band and move out to Los Angeles.

Go sick of that and decided to get my life together... but things just cant tie me down it seems. I have been traveling around as an Outdoor Instructor camp to camp and company to company doing everything from OUTDOOR ED to private kayak, climbing and backpack guiding.

I am down to earth, good in conversation and very laid back and open to different things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None with this site... but when playing in a touring band it was more like van and floor surfing. Couches are a step up i would say.

Lots of places of other bands, and a few nice mothers of guys in bands...

The Kissers put us up in Chicago for two days; best time ever, two nights and shared a show together.

Saved a kid from drowning on the Youghiogheny River while i was the Lead Guide for the trip... i didnt stop shaking for a day afterwards, it was very real and scared the hell out of me.... my father taught me lessons of being able to make decisions quickly. I doubted myself all my life until that day.
