Overview
About Me
Hello, My name is Louie and I love to travel and meet new people. I’ve always been an outdoorsy kind of person and I enjoying flying airplanes. If I make a request to stay with you, it’s likely a pit stop on a bike or plane trip.
The best part of any trip is the conversations you have with people along the way. After spending some time exploring random towns on a motorcycle I’ve learned that the best way to get to know and understand a place is getting to know people. I often joke saying “you go to the barber shop, church, and the local airport and you can know everything about a town in one weekend”. It’s a little of an exaggeration but not too far off.
I look forward to getting to know you either as a host or a guest.
Safe Travels!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Most of my trips are long bicycle rides or plane camping. In more than a few instances, I’ve received significant/crucial help from complete strangers. The generosity of these strangers and the short time I had with them are the most memorable parts of my trips. Overtime, I started to focus less on reaching my goal of completing a trip but focus more on the people I meet along the way. I try to write there names down and a short summary of there story.
You start to realize that some of the happiest/ most satisfied people are the ones that provide that help to complete strangers (like me). I intend to use Couchsurfing to find places to stay yes, but it’s also a way in which I hope to be able to give, rather than just receive.
