About Me
Hey there!
My roommate and I live in the east end of Toronto, ON Canada and we are thinking of hosting. I have used this site before and want to give back to the community. I share the great desire to travel and am always thankful for the generosity of others so this is my way of trying to give back and be part of making another's experience that much more enjoyable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was studying in Florence, Italy one summer and decided to take a weekend trip to Split, Croatia with some classmates. We ended up meeting a wonderful bunch of people during our short trip and they offered to put us up for the rest of the week. It has been one of the best spontaneous decisions I have ever made and made me realize how lucky I was to have met such awesome people.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always try to learn the relevant customs and laws of the place you are visiting. Being a tourist or brief guest in an area is not an excuse for remaining ignorant to another's culture and way of life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As I will be living in someone else's home for however long a time, I am more than happy to pick up my share of chores and responsibilities. Cooking, cleaning, walking your dog, any thing within reason that will allow me to give back to the host(s). Since I will be sharing their home, I also hope to get to know my host(s) better and maybe share stories, hang out, cook together, etc.
As one who is open to hosting, I expect guests to be courteous and kind to my roommate and myself. I will try to make my home as much your temporary home as possible but respect and courtesy are top on my list when it comes to having guests and that goes both ways. Respecting each other's space will be key in keeping a great host-surfer relationship.
