ABOUT ME

Been a little bit of everywhere...seen a little bit of everything. Grew up with a father in the army for 28 1/2 years, so I've lived abroad for six years and traveled quite a bit during growing up. Always looking for new experiences and to meet people that can teach me something that I didn't know. Life was meant to be lived and experienced, not to be the spectator, but to be on the field jockeying for the next big goal!!

I tend to be a spur of the moment person when it comes to living life. Business wise I am very conservative and predictable and organized. Outside of work I do a 180 degree turn and love sporadic trips to see friends, road trips with no known destination, and traveling with friends to someplace neither of us know. I find other cultures extremely interesting and enjoy trying to acclimate myself to them and experience what life is like in other places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting started. Don't think I'll have that many people wanting to "couch" in my small southern town, but you never know until you try! Will probably meet some great friends though that may travel to places that I travel and can show them around. Never know if you'll be successful until you try something...right?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far :-( But maybe, just maybe on this upcoming trip to Europe I'll start :-)

Movies: The Bone Collector; Sixth Sense; Milk. Books: The World is a Ghetto; Political Ideologies; Enemy at the Gates; Flags of our Fathers. Music: All over the place...really enjoy Indie Rock...but find myself listening to anything new that has a good lyric or tune!

Love to listen to foreign languages. If I had my schooling to complete again, I would probably take many different language courses and take them with more attentiveness than I did. German in college was easy due to my living over there. In retrospect, I wish I would have taken Chinese or Latin to learn something new.
