About Me

Back home in Italy 🏡🇮🇹

Hello I'm Luca
Educator 🤓(social worker) and
Traveler ✈️🛳️🌍🌏
I mainly like spending time or just be hosted by locals or people that live in the countries where I go. not just to see Spot, Museum and tourist attractions. I much prefer to talk and understand more about how living in other countries, how things are going , and discovering the stories (of the people and the country). It helps you live a deep and authentic experience of the places where you are going!!
At the same time I would be happy to share my knowledge and my experience with who I meet, and if you want to learn Italian I'm here for that as well :)

When I was 24 I moved to new Zealand for one year with a working holiday visa (before I just did touristic traveling close to the main capitals in Europe), it's been an experience that makes me grow, be independent and especially changed my way to travel and live in a country, I used to work in restaurants as waiter, baker or chef grill.

Just before coming to New Zealand I went to Rwanda for a couple of weeks in an orphanage in a small village called and a few months before I did a volunteering experience close to Zagreb (Croatia) in a "house of disabilities" for kids and teenagers. Those experiences changed my way to see the world and my priority about Human beings!!

On the way back to Italy I stopped in Malaysia for a couple of weeks and I fell in love with south east Asia, an incomparable way to live, really far from western life.
The same year (2016) I went to Thailand, Cambodia and South of Vietnam. Beautiful experience and full of good vibes for backpackers looking for exotics experience!

After I went to study and I "settle down" (I will always try to live deep experience everywhere I go as much as I can ) in Bologna, where I put my roots in my own country, a beautiful place for living. I will really suggest coming!!

In October 2024 i started travelling (I like to call like this) close to my home country, to understand much more what are the small differences between People that are close but at the same time really far from your life.i moved to the edges of the European continent. I went to Morocco for one month and a half, I was in Portugal and South of Spain.
Since February 2025 i started my travel from Sofia heading to Turkey at the doors of Asia, explored the western part of turkey and then I took a ferry trough the egeo heading to Athens.
In July I travelled through the Balkans from Albania to Sofia through North Macedonia

Just back

Thanks a lot to all the People hosted me during these trips!!
