Overview
About Me
I'm mostly about discoveries. I really like trying something I have never did, getting out of my comfort zone and traveling really made it easier for me.
When I travel, I try to be as close as I can to the local community, staying in suburbs instead of tourist neighborhoods and try to "absorb" the most of their values, etc.
My girlfriend says I'm a total clumsy guy. Every trip I make I slip on something and fall really bad. Like real, real bad.
Maracanã, first time with my girlfriend's folks. Fell down a couple stairs.
France, Chamonix, Le Mer de Glace. Fell down 30 steps on icy cold weather.
Penedo, Rio de Janeiro, Jungle slippery wood stairs, fell down and ate more dirt than I ever will in my entire life..
And the list just goes on.. And I can tell you, it includes every single place I've ever been. Ask me and I'll tell them all :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being traveling and communicating my two biggest passions, Couchsurfing has given me the opportunity of combining both in a more reasonable way..
I'm doing my bachelor so I'm not really able to just go out there and explore the world, I try traveling as much as I can, on my vacations, but that doesn't really fulfill my needs, so meeting people from anywhere right where I am can help with that.
I also really like going out so if you want someone to show cool spots in town and bars out of the touristic scene, just message me and we'll be drinking in no time!
Having had a bilingual education as far back as I can remember, speaking english is another passion of mine, and I try to apply it in my day-to-day routine, having business conversations or just pretending that I'm a foreigner (come on, we're in Rio!) :P
Interests
When I was a kid, I had those wishes every kid had. Astronaut, Fire Man, Police Man, you name it.
People say I'm really good with technology overall, from phones to computers, I was introduced to technology really early and got the hang of it..
I started my YouTube channel when I was 13, really got the hang of video production and filmmaking, but got bored of it and just stopped after 2 years.
But I realized that I got sick of being a YouTube, not of YouTube at all. So I worked at a YouTube network and founded another, which lasted till last year, when I got into college! It was a pretty fun experience and I'll be pretty happy to share you that!
So you can pretty much talk to me from "how do I create my facebook profile" to "how do I stablish this connection from my PHP page to the MySql Server" and I'll be glad to help you out.
Also, cooking is one of my favorite things to do! I still live with my folks, and they're not really into it, but I do it as much as I can and really enjoy it, even if it turns out to a really bad plate.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a ritual where I choose 3~4 songs on that "rising musics" Spotify playlist, add' em to my personal playlist and just keep listening them on a loop for a month, till I get sick of it or find any music that fits my mood better.. That means I'm constantly looking for new music genres, suggest me a new one!
Books are currently academic ones, not so much to share here, I wish I had more time (and discipline) to read more..
I LOVE documentaries of most types, let's just watch one about traveling and I'll love you forever.
