I am couch surfing because after visiting Peru and staying with locals, I realized that true travel has to do with all the different types of people you meet and interact with. Hotels are nice, but having someone share their home with me and teaching me about their life is priceless.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is all over the place. I love listening to EDM (Skrillex, Deadmau5, etc.) when I am lifting weights, driving a car, or partying. I love to listen to classical music when I am studying or cleaning. I love to listen to older jazz and formal music when I am cooking (Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, etc.), but I am usually listening to American rap or rock most of the time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built a floating grill that I could tow from behind while floating in a kayak. My friends and I took kayaked for 9 hours down a river until we reached downtown Chicago. When we got to the center of the downtown, we lit the grill and started to barbecue marinated shrimp in the center of the river while everyone was taking pictures of us. Ask me to show you videos of it!

If you are learning Polish or English, I can help you practice speaking. I can also love to cook and I've been told that I can make a good steak, so I would be willing to offer a master class :) Additionally, being an American, I am a bourbon aficionado and could talk for hours about whiskey. I also love to listen to people tell stories about their experiences.
