I am a friendly person who love meeting new people and diving into new cultures.
I am a strongly passionate Political Scientist with a great deal of interest for writing and journalism. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Food, Agriculture and Environment from the University of Pisa (Italy), involved in an EU project focused on small farms and rural development. Fighting for human rights and social justice has always inspired my life and I wish I could get into a human rights career, one day, and actively contribute to global equality and development.

I'm fond of sports and deeply in love with nature, I love nature-bathing. Sport has always been part of my life. I've always practiced volleyball since I was a child, although my heart has always beaten for football. I managed to become a good amateur football player (I am not a football fan and I don't like its business) by dint of skinning my knees and struggling as a little girl in a pit of rude (and male chauvinist) boys to make my way and het ahead ^_^ Now I mainly practice kung fu, mixed football and bouldering (more as an hobby), while I enjoy have some restorative and funny horse riding occasionally.

I am not such a cooking master but I like baking and learning from different food cultures (better if Asian or African ones), in between I just try to play my (Italian) cards right to daily feed myself ^_^

Music makes the soul vibrate and I find very good and regenerative vibes in listening to it, better if live music and even better with the possibility to catch a voice accompanied by the sound of a guitar or few instruments. I enjoy playing the guitar as a self-taught.

I always find difficult to describe myself actually, maybe because I am interested in many different things: basically, I am a curious person and I like to engage myself in a continous learning proces. Wanting to skim existential nuances and global strives, I often wonder about (and I need to ask myself) if I am more part of the problem or if I can be part of a (desired) solution.
