I live in a small town near Prague. I study English, French literature and Social Pedagogy in Ceske Budejovice (Budweis).
I love music. I play the piano, guitar, recorder and I try to play the violin :-) I´m also a singer in a band. The band is my greatest hobby. We try to tell people what we feel or what we think through lyrics. We play love songs but we also sing about the world´s things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people. I find it exciting to encounter people from different places all over the world.
I was to Ireland a few years ago. I was an au-pair in a town near Ennis. I loved meeting other au-pairs from different countries and chatting with them in English. It was a very special event to me. My band arrived in Ireland to visit me and we had such a great time hanging around and busking.

There is so many bands that I like - Coldplay, Jesus Culture, Keane, Mumford and Sons, Yellowcard and so on.
My favourite pianist is Ludovico Einaudi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tough one.
I´m not sure about how much amazing it is but I like reminding it.
When I was in Ireland, I told my family I was not coming home on Christmas. My mum was hurt, it was the first time we were seperated on Christmas. However, I was actually planning a way back home without telling somebody. I took 13 hours to get home. I woke up at 4AM in my host family´s house and got in front of our house at 5AM. My family just finished a Christmas dinner by that time. I knocked at the door and my mum came to open it. First, she just couldn´t understand and then she started to cry. When I came in, everyone was looking at me with their mouths open wide. They had NO idea I was coming. It was a great surprise and the best Christmas in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach children to play the piano and English. It´ s all about the game, though. Even the theory is a game.
I might teach you something in French, too. Or to play the guitar or the recorder. We might go busking together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could tell you something about my country or my town if you like. I could play you some Czech songs or teach you some words in Czech! I could also prepare a Czech dinner for you and share a recipe.
