I'm Lucretia, 22 years old in June, currently a grad student and licensed insurance agent. I was born in Monrovia, Liberia, lived in Ghana and Ivory Coast growing up before finally moving to the US in 2004. Lived in Michigan for six years, then move to Ohio, where my family lives currently, before settling in Denver, Colorado for school. I've been in Denver four years now and am absolutely in infatuated with this beautiful State! I love to travel and eventually want to touch every continent, but I always want to have Denver to call home and come back to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because my bestfriend and I (the girl in my third and forth photo), are planning on staying in London for a month this summer and we need places to stay while we're there to help minimize our expenses. We're both starting new chapters in our lives, and before we embark on those new journeys that could potentially be time-consuming, we wanted to make some lifelong memories and do some of those things that have been on our bucketlist for some time now.

Interests

Some of my interests include, but are not limited to, nature and basically any outdoor activities, music, food, knitting, working with adolescences, reading, singing, relaxing, volunteering, traveling, wine tasting...

I have such a diverse musical pallid, my taste ranges from indie to rock, pop, rap, soul, jazz, contemporary Christian, soft rock, underground, old school, electric, house, chill...I just love good music with meaning and a message, great vibe and nice beat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the privilege of working with amazing inner city and at-risk youth throughout Denver, which i must say is one of the most amazing things I've ever done. It was through that experience that my passion for adolescence psychology was developed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn and experience the world around me, so anything chance to experience a new culture, I always take advantage of. Traveling allows me to do so; because of that I am always open to learning and experiencing new things!
