Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Lui, a Communication Design student from Germany, currently living in Weimar. I love meeting new people, especially after spending a year in Lisbon, where I had the chance to explore nature and learn new things from many amazing people. I'm also a photographer, though I have a broad interest in various art mediums. Recently, I've been experimenting with ceramics and occasionally dabbling in painting. Cooking is one of my passions—especially Vietnamese cuisine, which connects me to my heritage. I'm always on the lookout for new recipes to try and would love to share a meal together if we meet and there is time! I also enjoy going to the cinema with friends and discovering new films! I'm an open-minded and curious person who loves conversations about art, culture, and life. I think a lot about how we're all interconnected, and I'm passionate about learning new perspectives from the people I meet. I'm excited to explore new places and make meaningful connections.
If we cross paths, I'd be more than happy to share my love for cooking, exchange photography tips, or just chat about our favorite films!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just got back from an incredible year in Portugal, where I had the chance to connect with some amazing locals and artists . Working and living together with them was a fantastic experience that brought my creative visions to life. It taught me so much about the importance of exchange, patience, and the real beauty of community especially working in the creative industry. During my time there, I also made lots of new friends from the palop countries and the ballroom scene. Learning about their experiences and histories and experiences in Lisbon added a whole new layer to my trip, understanding what is happening around me and adding to my perspective. Their stories and and the shared joy really made my time in Portugal and what made it even more memorable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I recently realized that I've become a lot less anxious or being scared. I've come to understand that fear is just a feeling that tries to protect me, but living a life ruled by fear isn’t what I want. I do experience fear sometimes, but I know I'm not a fearful person at heart. Patience, awareness and self compassion is what we need to heal.
