Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet and explore new places and peoples in this ever expanding awesomeness that is Europe!
ABOUT ME
I like to describe my self as a easy going person (although I think a lot of people might have already said that), that is to say I get along very well with most people. I love read, write, play video games on occasions. I love to socialize, drink from time to time and find my self in good company when I wasn't looking for one. I do love to explore, so if I find my self with an explorer please! Let me know!
But all in all I consider this person (my self of course) as an individual wordy of surfing.
PHILOSOPHY
I live by the principal of coexistence whether that involves lowering the volume of the movie at 12am so that the neighbor can sleep to solving a dispute between two factions in a war. It ranges from holding the door for someone to finding an economic policy where everyone stands to gain. The principal of coexistence is part of something bigger but it also the whole.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If by participating you mean hanging out, my answer is yes I do!
If by participating you mean cleaning the residence, my answer is I also do!
And if by participating you mean exploring the surrounding areas, I very much do!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The only couch surfing experience I've had its with my couch and it usually involves me falling a sleep after a long movie night. Sorry to disappoint.
Interests
My interests revolve around history (of course), international and local politics, literature, film (if its good), music and good healthy conversation over a meal.

Music, Movies, and Books
With regards to movies: "The King's Speech", "Inception" and "The Grand Bucharest Hotel".
When it comes to Music: I enjoy Jazz, Indie and rock.
When it comes to books: "The white tiger", "Crime and Punishment" and (my guilty pleasure) The entire Harry Potter series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure if I have anything interesting to tell but here it goes: A few years ago I went to the Dominican Republic on a short trip with my mother. The idea was to visit an old family friend that was stationed in a remote village close to the border with Haiti. Upon our arrival I was immediately taken aback by the immense difference there was from home. The area where we had arrived had no roads, no electricity, no running water, no social services of any kind. I was 6 years old so you can imagine my reaction. I stayed there for about a week in a house that had dried out palm leaves for a roof and wooden pallets for walls. The "bathroom" consisted of a plastic bowl and the "bed" was a piece of foam. The experience humbled me quite a lot.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would very much like to teach everything I know from my culture, anything that might be useful. I would like to learn anything and everything I can with regards to the host's country so we can both share in the in an experience of a lifetime.
