Hi i’m a 19 year old student from london living in Cardiff. I spent all of my childhood living in London and moved to Cardiff to study. I study Civil Engineering and I also work as a Chef in London. I have been travelling solo as much as I can since the start of 2025 and I have enjoyed experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. I like meeting fellow travellers on their own journey, but in particular I like to meet locals, to understand the place I am visiting by becoming friends with someone with a first hand experience of the place and being able to learn from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to meet and stay with locals or other travelers and really feel like I am experiencing the place I am in. Also of course to make friends which I feel is important during solo travel

Interests

I love playing and watching football, and I follow football religiously all around the world - I am a Crystal Palace fan myself. I play the trumpet to a professional level, playing in locations all over the UK such as the Royal Albert Hall. I play competitive chess in tournaments, and play a lot of online chess when I have time. As I mentioned I work as a chef, and enjoy cooking, especially cooking for other people. I am interested in art and grew up in an “arty” household. I am very interested in history politics, geography and dinner time conversations. Finally of course I love travel, and I am an experienced traveller who wants to explore the world.

I have a very strong knowledge of London and the rest of the UK. I enjoy talking politics of my country and around the world. I have impressive football knowledge, beyond just English football and even European football. I want to learn more languages- I studied French and Spanish in school but haven’t used practically enough, and I am trying to learn Ukrainian

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very charismatic person and a good laugh, and overall good company. I’m nice if you want a drink, if you want to do something active or adventurous, such as sports or hiking. I am good to have at a dinner, and can maybe even cook for you perhaps🤷‍♂️. I am very kind and friendly overall and I can bring a joy into your home
