About Me

UPDATE SOON - BELOW IS FROM 2017 (still funny)

Routine is the enemy of time - since hearing that sentence in a yt-video I am even more concerned about living life as exciting and sometimes also scaring as possible, to change environments and to get a new view on yourself and everything that surrounds you.

It's been one years now since I've finished german high school and I am currently(end of august '17) about to leave for a extended time to south america.. I will be teaching soccer for the people in the favelas of Sao Paolo and afterwards traveling the remain parts of this beautiful continent!!

After traveling the US for 3 months last year I've been working and doing short trips in Europe.. I've already made so many great experiences, met the most amazing people and saw breathtaking places in this first year after school and I'm looking forward sosososo much for the new year and new continent :-)

I'm really easy going and I'm pretty sure we will have a lot of fun no matter if we are hanging out and talking about the world or just some amusing bullshit, if we go out to explore the city and maybe some partying if you don't have work the next day.. or anyway ;-)
also I love to be outside doing any kind of sports together and I love to try out new stuff!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to see new cultures, countries and most important new people...!!! I've learned during my travels that meeting people, with totally different backgrounds, always adds value to your self developement in ways you would have never expected it.. and I enjoy looking back and wondering about myself or how I've changed so much. Also I feel like people in this community all share kind of the same values so I'm just looking forward to have a good time together :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Muuuuuusic

my music-taste has changed from mainly hip hop(which still is my favorite for partying) to more chilled indie/alternative rock/folk.. my favorite artists are mumford&sons, the lumineers, jeremy loops and vance joy

Movies

currently I'm not really into movies or tv series but I was watching a lot of two and a half man, house of cards and suits when I was in school.. some of my favorite movies are with Leonardo di Caprio( "catch me if you can" or "the great gatsby").. I also love "the intouchables"

Books

I mostly read non ficton books, a lot of them from philosophers and also a lot of biographies.. I usually enjoy all of the books I read because if not so I wouldn't open it again..
some that stand out : "the alchemist" - paulo cuelho, "vagabonding" - rolf potts, "Who am I?: And if so, How many?" - Richard David Precht
furthermore one that inspired me a lot: "The book of joy" - Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled more than 7500 km througout the whole US with friends, mostly by bus and sometimes by car and met the most amazing people during the trip thanks to couchsurfing and general hospitality we were blessed with :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not sure at which step from my trip we will be meeting but I guess I'll have enough stories to tell and good wine to share :-)

Plus I love to cook and you can mostly eat it without getting sick, so if we have the time you can allow me to mess up your kitchen...
