About Me

ABOUT ME

I am hungry for knowledge about everything. Also I love animals and nature.

PHILOSOPHY

What describes my philosophy the best way is a phrase by Jonathan Safran Foer: "All or nothing or something else". For me it means not to give up and try to find a way out from any trouble, and remember that every path is unique and right.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to be a guide couple of times to different people in different cities. And I am sure that I was a good guide.

Interests

Books, right music for the right mood, wild nature, animals, space, great TV series and movies and many more (almost everything in this world actually).
MOOCs, I love the idea of being able to study almost from every part of the world, to learn from the best teachers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love dramas, good animation films and horror movies :)
When I was a child I used to watch X-Files and Alfred Hitchcock presents every evening with my family. Since then, I love horror movies and everything mysterious, dark, maybe a bit scary.

I cannot tell anything certain about music I like. The main thing is that I listen to music that matches with my mood. I like to listen to rhythmic music when I'm working; I prefer relaxed and calm music when I'm walking; and also I love all kinds of electronic music.

Books are the toughest one. The best thing to describe my preferences is to say that I read a lot of novels.
Now I'm reading Roland Barthes' Lover's discourse

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing I've ever seen is a yew-tree grove in Khosta, Sochi. It's a great place to go and it is very beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

Lately I've been wathcng a lot about biology, especially about neurobiology, will be glad to discuss it.
