I have graduated law, one year ago and now I'm on my gap year. I have been living in London for a year, now I'm in US for LLM (special postgraduate for international lawyers).
I love to travel, not sure whether for views or local cousin (I'm a foodie type). I think I was born as a fish (my Mother deny that), because I love to swim, sail and dive. Since 2010 I enjoy hiking, which my friend showed to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that Couchsurfing can offer something that hotels and hostels can't- authentic experience. What I want to give is to teach our amazing culture, and spread around the world positive image of my country and natives. I would be more than happy to receive the same, (maybe with some recipes for local dishes too).

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste was shaped by my Father and Uncle. Then there is Metallica and Iron Maiden in my veins with plenty of AC/DC and Black Sabbath. But don't worry I'm not long haired cat eater. Since my studies begin I do listen basically everything that broaden my horizons.
The Shawshank Redemption is movie of my life. As well as The Green Mile. I just think that Stephen King books adaptations are my soft spot.
I cannot imagine live without books. At my home there is a pretty huge library with various books. I read since I was 5 or 6. Sometimes I read e-book but also I have this ridiculous habit to buy books, especially the old ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I get lost with two of my friends in Tatry (Polish mountains). We have found that we are on Slovakia side of the mountain late in the evening. Luckily rescue team (old highlander in even older car) helped us to get to nearest shelter. Never had such delicious kwaśnica (kind of a soup). After all when we checked, we have made like 20 km in mountains, by foot, with backpacks, in heavy rain. Now this is a great story to tell but at the time it was terrible.
