ABOUT ME

My name is Mack! I am a Canadian student traveling Europe right now. I am based in the UK and just want to see and do as much as I can in life. I love good stories and interesting people. I am always up for an adventure. I was raised to be clean and polite (the perfect house guest). I am interested in everything and love a good conversation. But also will get out of your way when it looks like you want to be alone. I am in the process of starting a small business that will allow me to travel. I run a small blog. I love writing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think its a great way to meet people and help travelers out who might not otherwise be able to go as many places. I like to travel without spending much money and learn about the real people and not what tourist sites want you to see. I think couchsurfing is a beautiful movement and everyone should start doing it! The sharing economy excites me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived 4 months in voluntary poverty in Vancouver - spending less than 100$ a week total.
Worked for a professional football team in Vancouver - arranged players to visit children at hospitals and youth practices
helped organize the 2014 Grey Cup festival
