My name is Maddy and I am a writer, performer and theatre maker originally from Sydney, Australia. In 2022 I'll be travelling through Mexico, the USA and Europe before moving to New York City in September. I'm looking to meet like-minded people from around the world for new adventures and connections. I am triple vaxxed (and previously infected so fingers crossed for super immunity!)

I love traveling and meeting new people, trying new food and learning about the history, language and culture of different countries. I'm very fortunate to have three passports - Australian, American and Dutch which allow me to spread my wings far and wide. I'm a theatre writer (plays and musicals) and feel very inspired when I am traveling.

I love cups of tea (or wine!), seeing live performance and cooking. I prefer walking around or cycling to discover new places - trying to reduce my carbon footprint.

After being pretty stationary during the pandemic, I'm excited to head out and explore the world again. This year I plan to have a bit of a nomadic existence and just see what happens!

Couch surfing has been recommended to me by a number of friends and I can't wait to get started. It seems like a wonderful way to meet like-minded, open hearted people across the globe.

Unfortunately I don't have any references yet as the friends who have couch-surfed before are now locked out of their account by the paywall and don't want to pay the fee to write a reference when they aren't travelling at the moment (fair enough!). But I'm widely travelled and have uploaded my reviews from Airbnb in my photos to help alleviate any concerns.
